We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the XR, Computer Vision & Interactive Applications Lab with Unity, which took place in spring 2026 and was organised by the e-Business and User Experience Lab of the University of the Peloponnese, in collaboration with Vongrid.

The programme consisted of five laboratory sessions, during which participants had the opportunity to explore and apply Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Eye Tracking, and Computer Vision technologies in practice. Throughout the sessions, participants worked with real-world examples and gradually developed their own interactive applications.

Following the completion of the sessions and the presentation of the final projects, certificates of participation and awards were presented to the participants in recognition of their effort, creativity, and technical progress.

The XR projects developed during the programme demonstrated a wide range of applications for immersive and interactive technologies. These included an eye-tracking application, an augmented reality application featuring AR filters, a virtual reality application focused on the operating room preparation process, and a VR guitar interaction application.

The final presentation was an important moment for all participants, as it gave them the opportunity to showcase their projects, receive feedback, and demonstrate the skills they had developed throughout the programme.

The collaboration between the e-Business and User Experience Lab and Vongrid highlighted the importance of connecting academic knowledge with practical application, innovation, and modern XR technologies.
